The EME Hub is pleased to announce the next themed workshop on Reconfigurable Metamaterials, co-hosted by University of Leeds, and Queen’s University Belfast, 4th March 2026.
We will be bringing together Metamaterials experts from across the UK to create an informative workshop focused on reconfigurable manipulation of the electromagnetic environment through programmable metamaterials
Scope of workshop
- Aimed at physics/engineering specialists and professionals with interest in metamaterials and electromagnetic wave manipulation through metasurface-based structures for EW applications.
- Covers topics such metasurfaces and reconfigurable manipulation of electromagnetic waves in EW, outline the most recent technological advances, and research trends in this area.
- The workshop will include challenge area discussions on how metamaterials can deliver solutions in practical EW scenarios.
- Delivered through presentations from Dstl, UKMMN (UK Metamaterials Network), IOP (Institute of Physics), EME Hub.
